The Wanderer Sketch Dump

I did these random sketches of my characters from my sister's story The Wanderer I will explain alittle about them because no one knows who they except for me and her.

The man with long dark hair is Lestat. He was one of the seven Seraphim of Heaven until he went insane and was banished from Heaven. He was given the name "The Blood Seraphim" after he was banished. In order to keep him from causing trouble he was sealed away on Earth. After escaping from his prison he went to New York in search of someone... his lover who had helped in his banishment. He wants to kill her, but she is no longer an angel as he knew her, she is reincarnated as a young woman named Dion. (By the way the top left sketch of Lestat he is in the process of summoning his Angel Blade.)

The young man with light hair (the left sketches) is Joshua. He is Dion's best friend and her roommate in their New York City apartment. Joshua looks younger than he actually is, because of an illness that he was born with. This illness has caused him to be very thin and fragile looking. His appearance also makes people assume that he's gay when he isn't. Eventually Joshua starts acting strange and tries to kill Dion, this is because he is possessed by Lestat.

The woman with long hair (bottom-right) is Naomi. She is a Xenolite that was sent to New York to help kill the target there (Dion) when the original assassin sent to do the job, Leander Xenon (one of the main characters). She eventually tries to help Leander and Dion to break the curse that is keeping the angel's spirit in Dion's body before her 18th birthday. After her 18th birthday the angel would take over and she would go insane.

Seraphim: the highest rank of angels characterized by having six wings.

Xenolite: a name given to a group of assassins who hunt down and destroy supernatural beings. It is derived from the term Xeno meaning forgien(er). [this term was made up by my sister.]

Angel Blade: is a type of sword that can be used by Angels, as well as Fallen Angels, and possibly Demons. These swords remain dormant inside the user and can be summoned into their hand at any time. There is a higherarchy of the different swords, based on their strength and power. (Lestat's sword ranks in the top five strongest angel blades) [This concept was also created by my sister.]
